The Virtual Magic Wand (VMW) Program is an offshoot of the Magic Wand Initiative® started by Dr. Rox Anderson and Dr. Lilit Garibyan at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) to empower clinical faculty to engage in problem-driven innovation. AID helped launch the VMW Program in 2017 and remains a proud partner.

The program posits that the development of impactful innovative products and services benefits from deeply understanding and defining the problem worth solving.

Hacking Derm

Hacking Dermatology addresses pressing challenges for patients living with dermatologic conditions. Innovators are enabled to form multi-disciplinary teams that clearly identify a need in the field and to actualize their ideas. AID is a founding partner and helped launch Hacking Dermatology in 2018.

By engaging like-minded individuals in collaborative partnerships Hacking Dermatology seeks to generate and accelerate innovative technologies and products in dermatology.
