Jean-Phillip Okhovat, MD, MPH
Jean-Phillip Okhovat, MD, MPH is a PGY2 dermatology resident at University of Maryland. He obtained his MD with Alpha Omega Alpha honors at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed an MPH in Quantitative Methods at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to starting dermatology residency, he completed a Clinical Fellowship in Cutaneous Lymphoma at Stanford and a Clinical Research Fellowship with a focus on hair loss disorders at Massachusetts General Hospital. Throughout his medical and public health training, he has authored several wide-scale epidemiologic studies with a focus on skin cancer prevention and quality of life studies focused on patients with melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, in addition to hair loss disorders. He is currently interested in bridging the gap in knowledge in patient centered care and clinician-based innovation, which he hopes to help accomplish as an AID scholar.
